Olivessence is an innovative retailer and wholesaler devoted solely to the supply of extra virgin olive oil, olives and olive related products, sourced primarily from around Victoria.

The shop is the brainchild of owner, Nani, who is inspired by her frequent visits to many Farmers' Markets around Australia. Underlying the company's philosophy is Nani's passion to promote a healthy lifestyle through the use of gourmet oils and other gourmet delights. The company's primary mission is to impart knowledge regarding the health benefits of olive oil in cooking and general daily use as well as promoting the idea of reducing food miles by sourcing her products from around the Western suburb (where the shop is located) and Victoria.

Olivessence is also very committed to the philosophy of ethical shopping, which means that all products sold at Olivessence have been made and packaged ethically, with no harmful impact on our environment or sourced through human / labour exploitation. All olivessence products are free from GM ingredients, free from artificial substitutes and free from slavery! Nani takes pride in her extensive knowledge of every product the company sells. All products at Olivessence have been tested for human consumption (mainly consumed & used by Nani, her family and friends!) before they are placed on the shop shelves for selling.

Olivessence also holds private Sunday Tastings at  the shop between 12-1.30pm where you can learn all about extra virgin olive oil and its different uses, do olive oil tastings, hear olive growers share their experience of producing this liquid gold, from tree to table and be treated by a scrumptious spread of gourmet delights for lunch. Bookings are essential and the waiting list gets longer as the year progresses. Please register your interest early to avoid disappointment.
