This Gold Medal winner (2008) is grown in the Central Victorian town of Lancefield. A single variety (Manzanillo) oil of Spanish origin. Has a complex grassy, artichoke aromas and very pleasant fresh fruit characters with a gradual bitterness and pungency. Superb for dipping bread into, panfrying white fish fillets, dipping with dukkahs or drizzling over fresh tomatoes and boconcini cheese. |
