Our main focus is in the supply of extra virgin olive oil and its related products from the cooler regions of Victoria as olives grown in a cooler climate assist the olives to grow a thicker flesh thus producing more oil with more flavour. Indeed, Victoria produces almost half (49.2%) of Australia's national production of olive oil, largely due to its conducive climate and excellent soil condition, a fact, not widely known outside the olive industry. Olivessence is committed to developing and promoting awareness of the high quality olive oil available here in Victoria thus contributing to a healthier diet and a healthier environment through low food miles.
